Derwent Racing Team Get Two Winners

The well supported Loaded Owners has been followed for some time by Derwent Racing Team Members who got the word from Jason Clifford following a recent trial that he would be disappointed by anything less than a win.

"I think that $2 was a great price for any members who were confident in my judgement", said Clifford after the win.

The win was followed shortly after by the Gary White trained Helsinki Jones who scored by 1.3 lengths and paid $3.50.

"I've been a big wrap of this mare to members and if they have followed her throughout this prep they would be a long way in front", said White who has taken Helsinki Jones from a Class 1 to Class 6 in 11 starts.

Derwent Racing Team Members had not enjoyed the quick success of their northern counterparts who had already strung 3 wins together, but the future looks bright after Sunday's outstanding performances.
